you can use any of the rubber grommets on the firewall. when i ran my car stereo i put it through the main harness on the passenger side. 4ga wire fit in the extra rubber no problems. that might be a long ways to run it. i am gonna order gauges myself really soon so i will be doing the same. there might be something behind the main gauge cluster. i am removing mine this week to put on the white face gauges. i am hoping to find one there. as for splicing the af guage. you can tap into the wire at the O2 senror and run it with the vacuum line or  do it right at the ecu.

i will be getting the pods but i do not know how to hook up the boost gauge i used a T connector and connected it to the hose going into my BOV will that work ? my car when running idle has about 20 psi vacuum havnt had chance to drive and check boost to see if that is a good place to connect and also i found where to hook up the A/F but where would be the best place wo put the white and red wire ?

i always hook my boost up to the fuel pressure regulator.

if those are for the lighting...then one is ground and the other is power. instructions should say which one is what.

remove the dash bezel and you can tap into any of the wires that get 12v when you turn on your lights.

if it is one that require constant 12v then just find one with 12v when the car is on. make sure it has no volts when car is off. if your hesitant to cut wires around there. then you can always run them from the stereo

Have you taken it out on the road yet? At idle the sensor is cold and does not give a clear signal, and it will cause several lights to illuminate at once. If its doing it during driving then your O2 sensor could be bad, or your signal wire isnt connected well/properly.

when you remove the overboost switch use the spare bung to hook up the guage...

not to be a shit, but i wouldnt use the line to the fpr... it sees only vaccume.. besides that thing is very important and if by chance you develop a leak at the guage.. the fpr might malfunction and cuase a lean condition (not good)

bov line will work but guage will be slow and inaccurate when the bov acuates...

for a good solid trustworthy reading a bung on the intake is the only way to go....

i been told the opposite. you will know there is a leak on the vacuum because the gauge will not read correct. i have done it on my DSM, cedric, 240 and skylines all at same place with no issues. its quick responding there as well. if it leaks you will know

ok i solved the problem with the afr gauge. the splicer that came with the gauge did not clamp down all the way and i had to use pliers to clamp it down but now it all reads well at idle, no chance yet to put out on the road because i am in WV and also i got the boost gauge hooked up to the regulator and it seems to be running ok idle is 20 PSI vacuum
