Clutch NOT engaging???

Glad it was something simple.

Trans fluid goes in where the speedo cable enters the diff housing. The speedo gear is a dipstick.

Have you replaced the belt with a new one? Is oil leaking on it?

I see some leaking of some sort by the drivers side axle but wanna be sure its not the tranny. The belt seemed to be in good shape but is still the same one from 5yrs ago, starts smoking like crazy though and to me it appears the Alternator pulley isn't spinning as fast as the crank pulley

Glad the clutch issue turned out to be external and inexpensive.

5 years on a belt is not a bad life but probably not a bad idea to replace and check the alt and wp for smooth quiet operation and bearing play before installing a new belt.

Okay I found the place for the oil and I went to auto zone and the computer doesn't specify what kind of fluid it takes or how much. Mechanic work just isn't for me lol frustrates the heck out of me:/

You can use 80w90

Factory calls for ATF (even though its a manual)

Probably not good to mix them

Cool thanks, I drained the tranny and used the 80w90 thanks! So I took it for its first test spin and the dang Alternator belt came off and my exhaust was smoking quite a bit white smoke that smelt like fuel, it was also over heating due to the water pump belt having come off, I hope the smoke was due to old gasoline and not anything internal:-( so I just now bought some fuel treatment and a new belt, I hope it does the trick
