Hello folks. I'm in need of a front hub for a 91 Capri, base model. Would be shipped to Reno, NV. I've read that all 4 hubs are the same, as well as from 88 or so Tracer. Will accept hub with rotor.
Thanks!

The HUBs themselves are all the same. the HUB is just this piece though (sans the bearing, and studs)

If you need the whole steering knuckle, you'll need to measure the rotor and find out if it's the 9.xx or the 10.xx inch rotor. One of our members here just found out that the Tracer/base 323 knuckles will not work if you have the 10.xx rotors.

The knuckle is ok. Bearing went out and trashed the hub. I have the bearing already.
I also read that there is a bearing spacer that is calibrated to the hub too.
-
Yeah there is a spacer, it's matched to the knuckle, as it's the machining inside the knuckle (and the bearings) that determine the pre-load. The bearings are usually quite consistent though.

Russ is like beetlejuice, but you don't even have to call his name three times.

I get that impression. He must be a busy guy! Just left another voice mail for him.
-
Brittany has been manning the phones today - I've been out working on a few of our cars.....it's been pretty busy the last week or so - If we missed your call, we'll be calling you!
-
Britt just said she will call you first thing tomorrow morning!
-
Great! Just remember you're 3 hours ahead of me! :)

Just spoke with Brittany a few minutes ago, and my mechanic called just after we finished. I sent an email with the shipping address.
Thanks loads!

Russ and Brittany, job well done! And my mechanic did a great job saving me some bucks on the labor too! Too bad I'm too old and decrepit to do that job myself.
When I take my trip East, I'm for sure going to stop by your store and say hi!.
Thanks again.
