Thanks for your interest. Well, I regret not taking the $3,000 a guy offered me for it in the spring of 2024! I last drove it in August 2024 but I have started and run it several times over the winter.

Interesting Tim, how much do you want for it and how long has it been parked?
Thanks |

1991 Capri XR2 with about 85,000 miles. White with white hard top, black soft top, and gray cloth interior. Haven't used it much recently and intend to sell or donate it. Thought I'd post it here in case someone is interested. Due for Missouri state inspection. Needs tires (front left flat and on spare). Owned 23-ish years. Mods right after I bought it included: lowered suspension springs, aftermarket wheels (BBS?), re-mapped ECM from a vendor found on TeamCapri, cold air intake, turbo wastegate tuner, custom 4-inch exhaust. Runs well. I get a check engine light code/beeper on some start-ups that seems to track back to the ECM. I'll answer any questions and provide pics if there's interest but wanted to gauge interest first. Oh, yeah, the A-pillar has an aftermarket replacement for gauges but no gauges installed. Not sure how this works but reply or DM for more info. Thanks.

Advice from Chris was spot on and works in 2025. Motor, switches, controller fine - just needed to clean the position sensor contacts plus some clean lube.

So yeah my Capri has this weird intermittent problem where I can take the key out of the ignition and the engine keeps running and the dash lights stay on. But if I stall the car, then disconnect the battery and then reconnect it, everything resets back to normal... until I start the car and the engine won't stop again.
More recently another odd problem has started which I've wondered if maybe it's related to the engine not stopping. So when I turn the key to accessories the lights on the dash will come on and then 1/2 second later there will be a click and suddenly the dash lights and all the interior lights will go out. At first I thought a fuse had blown but then the lights came back on after a few minutes so I then tried turning the key to accessories again, and the same thing happened, only this time it was hours before the interior lights started working again. Any ideas as to what's wrong will be appreciated |

I have original Ford manuals for my 93 N/A. Bought them from Mid County Mustang, before PJ sold out to Russ.
But If you are doing the DVD's I would be up for paying for one. Message me here and we can exchange contact info etc. Thanks Greg |

I've had a mushy pedal for years now, that no amount of bleeding has been able to fix. If ya'll find functional master cylinders for sale, sign me up for one please

I've had several 'rear dragging' brake issues over the years, seems to happen when weather is hot... I have flushed the brakes and gotten positive temporary results, always wound up replacing the master to fix it...

I got one good from from O'Reilly's and not sure about the second one. I have a rear dragging. Replaced the hose and it's still dragging. Haven't had a chance to work on it yet. Wonder if master isn't allowing fluid to return.
