Need a little clarification: I need both the turbine wheel and the compressor wheel, along with the shaft. I might (more than likely) will have it rebuilt since I have gone this far.
My CHRA is ok, but if you want to send the entire CHRA including the two wheels and the shaft, that would keep you from having to disassemble the unit.
My intake has a crack (Matt tells us that many have cracks in their exhaust manifold). If you have a good exhaust manifold, I would take that as well.
I have decided to remain stock on the turbo. The itch for power is still there, and I might do it later.
If I get 8psi, it will be more than I had.
This has been a great education, and I hope the other guys have learned a bit as I have.
Russ was right; not knowing where the reconditioned turbos come from. Now I will know.
