Here is my past 2 weekend project. 300b1 D-Class Rockford amp rated at a 1228max watts, 2 stage 2 DVC Rockford punches, and a pair of Punch Tweeters all in a customer box that I designed and built myself. took one whole day to measure up my back seat area and come up with a layout. 2 days to cut it all and fix it, then one day to carpet and mount it. Looks great in the car and sounds great. And yes, for you  audio fans, you at max power you can hear these things over half a mile away.

bubble top was imported from the aussie land. the one made in the USA just is a completely flat piece behind the back of the front seats.

y-pipe for exhaust with a full cat back system cost me nothing, ppl locally did it for me before a car show. but they said it would be roughly 150-200, they made the glasspack muffler for me, it is not a store bought one.

The box took me 4 days to work with, i just really took my time. cost? few hundred like if you were to buy it in the store. would i build another? probly not cause it was a pain to work with and i do not get alot of time to do this kind of work normally. last 3 weekends i did stuff for my car, before that was almost last year. Now that i have a new nephew that is living with me that is currently only 1.5 weeks old, im not sure if ill be even doin a project this weekend, but will see cause i do have plans.

actually a turbo capri can run y-pipe fine. its the single pipe of the engine, and it splits after the muffler. The place I order the bubble top and also the spoiler from is  S.S.V..

Josh! Like Anthony stated, you'll bring the exhaust from the down pipe back to behind the rear axle and then wye it with one pipe coming back and the other swinging over to the driver's side. Then you may want to weld on some fancy tips as the pipes peak out from under the rear bumper. Go to a speed shop and look at what is available for tips, let your imagination run wild. Go to a competent muffler shop and tell them what you want. Get a quote and if its out of budget then go elsewhere check prices. I had one of my cars done about four months ago. I went 2 1/2 from down pipe same size cat and same size muffler and after the axle I swung the exhaust over to the center and brouht it out with a wide flat tip. Looks and runs great! If I could figure how to post pictures I'd show it! Good Luck! Gus

i can post up some basics, and let the maker who uses the idea figure out the problems of the car that I had to    leave something in there for fun, i think that is the best thing about doing custom jobs. is figuring out what all needs to be done, to do it right.

me, being the insane kid that I am, would not only put in some Cerwin Vega subs, but also some 6x9's and tweeters in that box. Keeping the 6.5" in the doors too. Can't forget about amps, 2 or 3 needed back there, and as always, a sexy capacitor for each amp with an LCD voltage display showing on the box. That would just rock.
