Frame + Body or Uni-body?
« on: June 28, 2010, 02:40:00 PM »

Yes, I'm that new... Does the 1991 Capri have a rolling chassis that the body can be lifted off of?  -or-  Is it a "uni-body" type set-up?
With the number of jobs I need/want to do to this car it would be a lot easier to remove the body as a unit & work 1st on the engine/trans/chassis.

Unibody. Body-on-frame is ancient, only cars I know of that use those recently is the full-size ford crown vic/merc grand marquis/lincoln town car. Those use the panther chassis dating back to the 70's.

Trucks and big suv's use body on frame of course.
