Title: 1994 N/A rear struts--where to find
Post by: genes501 on August 18, 2016, 12:10:55 PM
Am searching for rear struts for a 1994 non-turbo.  Parts are not listed on Rockauto. The 323 'comparable' parts do not have the correct mounting brackets.
The 1994 is unique and even Monroe does not have the right bracket.   Ideas?

Go to Roo-sport.com use the number and call, they stock many stock Capri parts.

How do you know they aren't the correct mounting brackets? Mazda 323 and tracer is the cheap go to. Just saying.

Rockauto.com should have them also.

I don't think there are any replacements with the correct mounting brackets. Perhaps I am wrong but I thought the extra bracket was a 94XR2 only item.

I believe Russ & I figured out that you can use the 91-93 struts by removing the bracket via the caliper bolts.

The 1994 Ford manual has the bracket in their diagrams.  The call it an "anti-moan" bracket.  My 1994 NA doesn't have the brackets and the KYBs fit fine.  Why the difference?
