Title: Finally got my new top on

Did it myself...turned out pretty good considering I've never done it before!

I couldn't afford it either...had to sell a beloved gun to get it!  But, I hope to keep the car a long time and I don't want to have to worry about the top anymore.

Good looking top AND install ! Where's the top from and how long did it take ? I'll be doing mine before spring, I hope.

Thanks!  I bought the top from Russ @ RooSport.  Would have taken me a Saturday, but I broke one of the rear cables by accident and had to order another.  Get the video, watch it several times, and take notes as to the steps.  It's not too bad at all.

I got the cheap one off eBay, and you can tell it's the cheap one.  The installation really was easy.  I used the printed instructions that came with the top and it wasn't difficult at all.  I'll have to say that it wasn't as straight forward as the Beetle top I put on years ago.  It looks really good man.

Looks good! Better than when I put on mine.  I also got from ebay with printed instruction.

Nice looking top and install! Mine is sitting in the box yet. Didn't have enough time to get it done before Fall and Winter got here. I bought mine online from the Convertible Top Guys. Bought a CD with instructions on how to replace the top. Looks quite simple. I got the black pigskin vinyl top. Really looks nice. Cant wait to work on it in the spring.
