Title: AEM Tru-Boost Gauge
Post by: Gostlrs on July 13, 2009, 02:45:00 PM
anyone seen these in person?

its an electronic boost gauge with a boost controller built in. you can adjust/control the boost on the gauge. can find it for 255-300. not bad for an electronic gauge and controller all in one.

thinking about getting it. reviews i have read have been good

long boost controller lines cause laggy response, resulting in massive overboost and inconsistent boost control.

Thats why they make electronic controllers, and they also make manual controllers with cables so you can adjust them in-cabin

yep rocket is dead on..and those that can adjust are pricey too for what the are...

sometimes you pay more for the ease....all in one and electronic set up..good up to 29PSI.

no doubt the AEM is the newest shit out...

my wideband is all integrated into the guage ...
all it has is the guage and wires to power and memory. and to the bosch o2 sensor...
all the wire connectors are tough and made to last awhile...

thououhly impressed!!!
the guage bezel unscrews off the face and everything can be removed even after the guage is mounted in a pod or panel

what impresses me most is the way you can turn it up or down... the same place your lookin for
the boost reading anyway....kinda cleans the dash up a bit

agree and the fact that it does all this....

No external interface required for programming!
Complete system includes harness, boost hose, on-board 29 psig pressure sensor (external 75 psia optional), boost solenoid, gauge display and all necessary fittings
Quick connect technology eases the installation process
Two user selectable boost settings with peak boost memory
Scramble boost setting allows user to momentarily change boost levels
User selectable Overboost alarm includes two timed shutdown levels at 10% and 20% Overboost
User configurable gauge includes 24 scalable LEDs, and interchangeable bezel, pin guide and faceplate to customize look of display
One (1) low-side output included for warning lights

i love the 2 user boost settings, and adjust on the fly. $250 for all this is a sweet deal IMO
