will bf goodrich excentia GT-H 205/55/16 fit the 91 xr2?

Thats a tough one. The sizes different places seem to all recommend is 205/40-16, 205/45-16 or 215/40-16 I think 205/55-16 maybe to large of a side wall. With that percentage as the sidewall height your also looking at about 1/5-2" more in diameter which may probly make the car do 65mph when the speedo says 60. 205/40-16, 205/45-16 these 2 sizes will be the closest to the original diameter size making the car either a tenth of a mph quicker or slower when you are doing 60 on the speed. and 215/40-16 will make you almost perfectly right on the money.
