Where is the Trunk Light Switch?

My trunk light won't shut off. That of course drained the battery and made me mad. Where is the trunk light switch?

i believe it is near the trunk struts..for some reason i think i seen it there one time before. if not then it has to be tied into the trunk lock itself. when you find it..come get one...

Solved....


it is part of the lock. easy way to fix this is to install one of these switches.

then it will only work when the hood is lifted to a certain point.

put a screw driver in and lock the trunk see if the light goes off...if not do the switch or look behind for a broken wire

Hey thanks! I opened up the backseat and looked into my trunk and saw the light on, so I think the switch is an issue.

buy that switch i posted on ebay or goto someplace like audioexpress and tell them you want a mercurt switch...

splice that in and you will be good to go. only on when trunk is open..

or come over and get one of mine..i have 2 sitting here now
