Power Mirror Switches!

Well, im sure we have all had fun with these, but ive pulled apart a few now, after some cleaning, where coke or something wierd has been spilt on them, they appear like they should work!

But i find they don't!

Does anyone have any success with cleaning and putting them back together, and is there a trick i am missing?

that switch is found in a bunch of ford cars over here, just pick a couple up from russ for cheap.

One of my switches had the traces burnt off the back of the board. I had to replace it, it wasnt salvageable.
