Capri siting
« on: December 19, 2014, 07:05:58 PM »

Was watching an old episode of Cops tonight and they stopped a man in a red XR2 for 80MPH in Palm Springs, CA.  He failed a FST and blew a .25.  Doesn't look good on us.     :D

Those of us that have a Capri that can do 80 mph can't afford to drink. He must have stolen it!  :)

When I'm happy with all my wrench turning I'll open her up. I'm getting close. So far I haven't been over 75. I'm taking her down to Florida next week. Maybe that'll be a good time. :)

About 3 years ago, I drove mine from SoCal to Dallas and back, doing 80+. Ran great.
Had good steering feel even with old struts.
Have been in Palm Springs a few times.
I might be careful if I go back.
