hardtop relays and switches

Installing hardtop-93 XR2-can I use any relays and switches from a parts car to get light and rear defogger working

The question is whether I can substitute any switches or relays from parts car-I did not get switch or relay with hardtop

Yea every car has the wiring. The Relay for the defroster goes in the trunk. The Wiring to plug the hard top defroster behind the driver door in a trap door where the window on the hardtop would go  under that will be the wiring.  The Switch will go next to the A/C Switch. You need to make sure its in tbe middlw otherwise it will be incorrect.  Tomorrow ill post pictures of the exact relay spot, and switch location.

Thanks, I printed out install instructions-just want to know if any other switch/relay can be substituted

Relay is an LA70, fyi. Same as the fog light relay.
