The whining might be your alternator belt, but it is usually a squeal right after startup. I will be at Russ's place in illinois in a few days, if you'd like I could probably help you troubleshoot any problems.

Yeah, when are you planning on being there? It would also be super convenient considering I need a rocket ecu and that maf adapter... I went to an exhaust shop today and was told i need to get both a performance header and high flow cat if i want to see any power gains...unfortunately those are both $199 at mid county that leaves me at $400 before i even get the rest of the exhaust. any cheaper option or resources?

Out in Richmond, right off 31, there is a shop called "Twisted Pipes". They do FANTASTIC work when it comes to exhausts. They did the work on the Super Roo. You DONT need a cat - your car is pre-95, therefore, NO emission testing for you in IL!!

Took the plunge today and bought a 27 x 5.5 FMIC, Muffler, Boost Controller(ball type), Clutch XRT stage 3, H&R coils, and sunpro gauges. I will be getting the struts from grip motorsports within the next few days as well as rims and tires.

Rocket- I sent you an email about the ecu...let me know.
