Tuning BOV?
« on: December 07, 2010, 01:06:00 PM »

As I adjust my bov harder it makes a louder, longer, almost vibrating sound.Still vents some when i rev it also. When will I know when I have gone to far and get surge? Or is that sound I hear now surge?Really don't want to kill my new Hybrid. Thanks Rocky.

if it is going ch ch ch ch or you hear a fast whoomp whoomp whoomp (surging) sounds from the turbo, its adjusted too hard, best to back it off till you get a nice clean discharge from the BOV

yea I think it is a non clean vibrating kind of sound so I will turn it back down.I didn't think I had it that many turns up.Plus a couple tuning web sights said it does not need to vent when reved and it does a little! Thanks Matt
