I went broke and sold a '04 WRX. Bought this for A to B since they're cheap & now it's getting fun but not easy to upgrade. Went back to school(a community College-haha), in my mid to upper 40's & it's paying for this. When ya want out it's temporary-if you like fast you'll be into something else no matter what. Now I just need to figure out how to lose 200+ lbs. on this thing. Even old 80's Rabbits had a fake plastic bumber that replaced the 70 lb original!

But a legitimate question: is the state of the US ecconomy really that bad? Sounds like alot of you are on some really hard times.

Turns out it was a perhaps bit too seriously worded April Fool's joke.

But yes, my employer shut its doors for good around the new year, and I've been unable to find a suitable job since.    Times are tough.

I concur.  I was laid off after 15 years, and have not been able to find a decent job since. I was laid off almost 2 years ago, and the best I can do so far is a part-time job at Subway, although, I was working at Subway long before I was laid off.
Things will get better. It's just a matter of holding on until it does!

ive been out of work for going on a year now sold off most of my stuff still got my 91 capri and my yamaha r1 to keep me happy when i can scrounge up gas money
