I'm trying to track down a dirt ball named Landon Peck. He lives in Utah, and is very active on Mazda forums, Turbo forums, things like that. He has a MySpace account (either Lando, or Lando pants)and Facebook account. His email is Fastiva_604@Yahoo.

Yep! Far right, correct? Jerkoff scammed me for $375 for the vj14/11 hybrid turbo that was on eBay a month ago. Filed with Paypal and they ruled in my favor, but he has no $$ in his account for them to give back to me.

That's very unfortunate. Is anyone here good enough with t3h internet to track down any phone numbers or addresses we can harrass? Subscribe his e-mail address to gay porn. If you have his address send him very large orders of anything that can be delivered, COD is your friend. Get a local to go stalk his house at all hours. Have everyone you know call and text him constantly. You'll get your money back.
If you want something with a bit more power potential to hold you over I have an 11/t-bird that I might not need...
EDIT: If you can get me any forums he's on and his user name I might be able to get something.

how about small claims? have the court get a subpoena to get his address from paypal/ebay and file a legal claim. atleast that's how i think it works.

Hey Russ! and forum members. I was going through parts for sale on the 323 forum and came across a listing posted Jan of last year. Guess what? Landon had a bunch of turbos and other for sale. I think that I received your turbo I bought a vj14/11 off him the week before. I received it but it was mis-represented. Needs to have a rebuild.
If he does any PayPal transaction and receives money it will be transfered into your account if you won the dispute. I just finished an event like this and the ass hole who screwed me (located in the fine shambles of Detroit)received a pay out the next week. I got my money back! It re-afirmed my faith in the system temporarily!

Gus beat me to the question: What was the return address? I will be calling SLC police this week to see what I have to do to press charges. There is another member here who got screwed by the same guy about a year-ish ago. He is willing to join me in my pursuit of all things morally correct! I will need to give the Po-Po more information than I currently have, so....Please let me know what the address is!

Probable best to take any talks past if anyone knows him into private email. One thing to warn about spamming, and bad activities. Just can't have a topic about how to get revenge. so in that sense Russ, you were write in mentioning not saying anything more about the plan.

Wow! I'm not sure what all of you have done so far, but it seemed to have worked! I received this email tonight:
sorry i have been a dick. the truth is a had some money issues and then the money was spend before i got the chance to send it. i still have the turbo. you will have a tracking number today. thats a promise. you should be a detective haha. my greatest apologies to you sir.
Although taken with a grain of salt, I responded with this:
To be honest, I don't really want to get the cops involved. I understand money issues. If you would have let me know there was a problem I wouldn't have had a problem with it. I will hold off until I receive it. If it checks out OK, I will still leave you positive feedback, even. Just remember, communication is the key.
He then sent me his phone number, and I had a good conversation with him. I'm giving him until next Monday to ensure this turbo is my hands, and it checks out good. After the 19th, if I don't have it, then the Police are involved.
Many, many Thanks to all of you that helped me out. It's good to know we can count on each other when something like this happens. I am in your debt!

Hey Russ! Or is it brokedick from now on. All you can do is check back and forth and wiggle for the bearings. Can't check seals until you run it. Has it got the vj11 compressor housing? Gus. PS let us know so I can make a statement in the other forums.

I spun the turbine and it seems OK. No play that I can detect.
The housing has VJ11 on it (see second pic), so I assume it's correct!
Perphaps I need to make a run out to Waukegan and let Phil take a look..........

Hey Russ! It sounds like you've got a good unit and yes I now see the vj11. You may have change the oil lines on the car to match the ones on the turbo. Honestly I thought you were at this point already. What was on the motor that came out of the GTX. Also by-the-way, that was very generous of you in your dealings with rocket. Ireally wish I was closer to you guys so I can physically share things with youall. I would probably be inclined to by rocket a wire feed welder, etc. Gus

The GTX came with the same turbo our XR2's have. No upgrade there. From what I was told, this new turbo should be a bolt-on! I have to meet up with KoopCK and find out if I need anything done to it (he will be installing it in the Spring).

The turbo is a properly done VJ14/VJ11 hyrbid IIRC. Thusly is retains the stock VJ14 CHRA and all coolant lines and oil fittings should stay the same.
The VJ11 uses the same oil fittings but the coolant lines are larger and in different locations.
When you get to running the Tbird CHRA the VJ11 coolant banjoes work as well as the 11's oil return, but I'm told the high pressure oil feed for the restrictor is a different thread pitch. (SAE vs. Metric) You can either re-tap it or force thread the restrictor in (i did that, lol)
