Title: Rocketman J-Pipes
Post by: Rocketman on August 31, 2009, 11:35:00 AM
Rocketman Jpipes are now available!

Kits include the cast Jpipe, a recirc fitting, blockoff plate, 4-ply silicone reducer and two T-Bolt hose clamps to hold it all together. The fittings are not blowoff valve flanges, they are there if you want to recirc a bypass valve (stock) or vent to atmosphere with a BOV. This whole kit replaces the extremely resrictive plastic piece with one that flows freely and will last a lifetime!

you mean internal diameter?

my comparison pics between the two wouldn;t do any good because mine is a prototype and slightly larger... but the stock plastic pipe narrows significantly at the 90 degree bend going into the turbo.. these Rocket upgrades remove the narrowing completely.

and they're not plastic!

Its a solid 2" constant internal diameter with no restrictions.

The stock jpipe narrows down to ~1 3/4" with a real nasty bend in it that is not conducive to proper airflow
