Title: Brake calipers
Post by: need4speed428 on September 20, 2005, 11:55:00 AM
I need rear brake calipers and ones listed for a capri are kind of outrageously priced. Does anyone know if anything else will fit in place without too much trouble? Thanks ~wayne

What prices are you seeing? I'm seeing 35-50. some are up over 100, but the others will probably work. I looked at autozone.com and rockauto.com

it's the core that gets ya.

I think they also sell loaded and unloaded... I think loaded comes with pads and stuff. 89 might be reasonable if it includes the pads. As I said, there was a large range and I couldn't tell in 3 mins what was what, but you might be able to do better.

Is that including the caliper new? or atleast rebuilt? If you can do it yourself then do it. Though if you not paying for it, then just let it ride hehe, not costing you anything.

Ah don't worry about it - for better or worse it'll all come off the first time he hits the brakes.  ;)
