http://www.cardomain.com/ride/629985/1991-mercury-capri/pclosure saw this on craigslist they have the bubble top with the back seat completely closed off can you buy that piece or is that a home made job? If anyone knows anything please let me kno , it looks great and would rather have all subs and everything closed off so no one can see them thanks

home made, i did the same thing & had the stereo behind it. I made the template out of cardboard boxes then used wood. wanted to do a fiberglass & mold it into the center console but sold the car before i got that far into it.

If you want a hardtop too you will need to make a top part too. you cant have the hardtop & bubble cover at same time.

Nah not looking into getting a hardtop just didnt want a gap under the bubble top when I get it lol. Found a roll of grey vinyl I'm gonna use to make my back piece. Thanks for the advice

Pepboys normally has headliner material in stock. They have carbon fiber material & other styles to give it a more of a design.

Ok good to kno there is a pep boys like 10 min from me, I found a roll of vinyl on eBay though for 20 is vinyl hard to work with I was gonna put like carpet padding on the wood then lay the vinyl over it . Saw an older camaro with the backseat removed the same way so thought it would be neat to try

I bought grey automotive carpet from WalMart - it's almost an exact match to the Capri carpet in both color and texture. It was a pretty decent sized roll too

Hey Matt, I re-carpeted my whole NA with that stuff! Used 2 rolls of black and it turned out pretty good. It's cheap and seems to do the trick!
