Tarheel

Where are you located? I'm right on the SE coast of NC. I have a parts car, so if you need some parts for cheap, let me know.

Still hav'nt put on the boost controller or BOV yet. Hope to get them on this week and test the new ECU. Struts and springs go in after that.

OK, Got the ECU upgrade, K&N air filter, BC and BOV. Took it out for a test drive and it keeps boosting upwards of 20-25 lbs of boost. Tried adjusting the BC screwing the valve all the way in and all the way out but still over 20 lbs of boost. Installed a new boost gauge to make sure and over 20 lbs? WTF? Please someone help before i blow my buzz bomb up. Rocketman, Cory, Kelly, someone? Thanks

Cory, i need your help with this BC. I put the heavy springs in it like the package says for the chipped ECU and adjusted the knobs all the way out and in but the boost still goes up to 25 almost. What now?

Take the heavy spring out, and replace it with the smaller spring.
Post some pics of the install, and I'll see if it looks right.
If everything is hooked up right, and the smaller springs don't do the trick, your BC is not working.

Which MBC did you buy? Did you run the lines from the stock location or put them somewhere else? Pics will be helpful there.

I would start with the small spring and back the adjustment screw all the way out and go from there. Let us know-

Installed the small springs, screwed the BC valve all the way out, boost still climbs to 25.
The hoses are connected correctly as far as i can tell looking at the directions on the BC. Took pictures, don't know if they will show what you need to see. I don't know how to post them here either.

You need to have a photo host like photobucket.com, or similar. When you upload pictures to them, they give you the URL of the photo.

You can email the photo to me, and I will post it for you - Cougar1prod@comcast.net
