should I have the controller closer to the metal inlet towards the bottom or closer to the crossover pipe?... the way I have it setup in which it is doing nothing (lol), I have one line in to the mbc and one coming out, back into stock connection. I dont see how this would work. I also have a t piece that came with it as a bleeder valve, I believe.. sorry that I am such a turbo noob...

According to most folks, you want the MBC as close to the boost source as possible. Here is an older pic of mine (sorta fuzzy), you can see the hose going to the inter cooler pipe is shorter than the line going to the waste gate. I mounted the controller to the top of the fan mount. Works out pretty good and convenient to adjust.
