i wasted money and i feel so stupid the ones from the local parts store would of worked cause they were just like the ones mid county sent me i went to the ford dealer parts desk yesterday and they have a tech there that has been there working there since 1985 on mazda ford and mercury and i showed him the ones off the car and the ones mid county sent me well it turns out that the ones that came off the car look different after 20 years and the ones i got look different new he told me to put a little grease on the bottom of the grommet tork it doown and it will slip right in the hole sooooooooooo i spent 37 at mid county after returning the right 10 dollar ones back to the parts store 27 bucks down the hole live and learn i guess      :(

$37???? ouch.

I had no idea these little bits were still available, always good to look.

Even just for reference try RockAuto.com its not just a place to buy parts but a really powerful lookup / cross reference tool
