Some inexperienced individual broke in (well, I don't lock my cars because I don't want anyone cutting the top to get in) and took the Sony CDX gt200 CD player.

Of course, when he did, he peeled the dash back from the center to get it out and busted up the center A/c vents.  Also broke the tab on the lower right corner, so it won't fit right.

I found another Sony CD player and also a pair of the center vents.  I only need the dash.  They are all black and are the same for all years, are they not?  Any body got one they aren't using?

Here are the ironies of this little story. I only paid 60 bucks for the player.  It was a detachable face and (like a dumb ass) I neglected to remove the face that Sunday.  Without the face, he probably would have moved on and never touched it.

Also can any one tell me or line me out on the basics of rewiring the fuel pump. Is it just a simple job of runinng new and bigger guage wires???

What kind of injectors should I look for at the junk yard??? What make of car? Is it just a simple swap??

As for the break-in, that really sucks, its a terrible feeling. I wish people would leave other people's stuff alone...

the power wire that you want to splice the new wire into is the black and white wire going into the 4 prong plug. i can take pictures if needed

Sorry to hear man. We have a lot of kids around here who try that stuff. Best bet is a good car alarm. I have a full cctv system at my place because of people stealing shit. And if I catch them one night on cam. I start putting razor blades in places they go for. I know this might sound like bad advice. But razors under the handles and in areas they like to dig around is a nice place to put them. Or if you really wanna fuck them over... Since razors are frowned on by cops.. Put a few fish hooks in areas they like to dig at..

Trust me. I've lost a few fish hooks this way haha. And really what crook wants to call the cop cuz he cut part of his finger off trying to rob your car? Or explain to the emergency room at 3am why he has fish hooks all threw his hand.

On the other hand. It might piss some people off to destroy your car. So be careful!

P.S just make sure you warn anyone who legitly gets into your car what you have done. Also sorry if anyone frowns upon this. But I really don't like people stealing my stuff. Try waking up on xmas to find that someone stole a 2k system from your car it sucks. Won't ever happen again.

Had three R/C cars, radio, charger, new batteries, about 2500 worth of stuff stolen out of mine in broad daylight while I was in the Doctors office. Definatly turned out to be a bad day. One of the secrateries told me that her car window was broken out once. Wish someone woulda told me that, never would've left the stuff in the car. 95+ that day, yeah, a window was down a little. Then again, locking a convertable is like putting lipstick on a chicken. If they want in, they'll get in.

That sucks. If they want in they'll get in or wreck something trying. I had a convertable, tinted the windows with Alpine Alarm stickers real small on the glass & the alarm($) would've gone off if they even put pressure on the seat. Roof still got cut just to look in. Don't have a radio in my Capri yet(face plate is missing when bought), but it still has the little red always blinking light so it stays in. Cops won't respond much in my neighborhood. Friend a block away has CCTV around his house & some
maniac was trying to break through the door,once he pumped the shotgun & told the cops he's gonna blow 'em away once through the door they finally got off their ass. Were stocked to the hilt here. If there's a fire in this house I'm heading for the hills. This thing will go off
like an ammo depot. Gotta know the laws(no pitfalls allowed), so now what to do with these buckets of used bandsaw blades?
