How do I fix or disable the flashing yellow airbag light??

The airbag module is a small blue box mounted on the firewall above the steering column. Unplugging it will cause the light to stay on,just remove the bulb.

So looking at the wiring diagram in ShopKey pro there is a yellow/blak wiring coming from the ABS Diagnostic Module that powers the indiator light in the instrument cluster.  I should be able to just cut this wire to extinguish the light....correct?
