my 91 xr2 runs hot at like almost 200 on the gauge in the cluster fan works and it has coolant. Was wondering if this was normal for these cars?

i was told the fan turns on at 210, these cars like to run hot for some reason thermostat opens at 195 and fan turns on at 210 so unless your getting to the 250 area you should be ok ! one thing you learn is then when you let someone borrow your car they come back in shock saying i broke your capri it over heats and has no oil pressure HAHA

Reason why I removed the relay and jumpered the wire to make the fan always me on in the summer. Pulled the wire in the winter so I could get heat..LOL
