When I'm not driving the Ram, I have my pick of 7 Capris to drive!

My other car is a "Brown Paper Bag". It's brown, it's plain and it hauls things. it's a Subaroo Outback.
-
'06 Chevy Trailblazer. It ain't fancy, but it's great in the snow!

90 toyota 4X4 is my daily driver. Just a real good runner, no problems after I blew a head gasket!! Caught it in time and while it was tore down I replaced the entire frontend of the engine!! hasn't used a drop of oil since even with 260,000 plus.

tinted all the windows and got some decent rubber and wheels, got to replace the exhaust, but waiting for the bill for the engine rebuild in the capri... she always comes first.

We have a 97 F150 extended cab (our daily work vehicle), a 94 Lincoln Towncar (which is my garage queen), and our daughter drives a 99 Cougar. Plus our Capri fleet (which is put away for winter). Yes, our insurance company Loves us!

I don't even wan to try to rival Rick's stable as he has some of the nicest cars I've ever seen - and that is since he has thinned the fleet since I've known him. He may even be hiding stuff as we speak! I just sold a '90 Lebaron Convertible that was a rare 5 speed 6 cylinder. That had been a regular in my fleet and I only parted with it when I found my XR2.
My daily driver is a '10 Subaru Forester. I would drive that thing anywhere to anything. Other than my Capris, the greatest thing since sliced bread!

Sky Blue Metallic 1995 Geo Metro LSI. Cassette Delete, 4 cylinder, 3 speed auto. Cheap to run and extremely easy to work on. And pretty fun when the weather turns bad.

Changes every few months it seems..LOL
Currently 93 Infiniti J30 and a 2001 Yukon Denali XL

I don't know how you guys can stand to drive the guzzlers. The thought of lining Arab oil barons pockets with gold kinda turns me away.
Hell I miss getting 50 MPG out of my stock 5 speed festiva...oh well I guess losing 10 MPG and knocking 4-5 seconds off the 1/4 mile and halving the 0-60 ain't that bad (http://tongue.gif)
-
I drive my guzzler out of necessity. I NEED that truck. With everything I tow, haul, and move, I just can't do it with a car!

Heres a 2100lb, 63hp aspire hauling a 2700lb GTX :D
He hauled it from Virginia to Ontario.
Im sure you could sub out the GTX for a big ol trailer loaded with Capri parts!
Though I'm not too sure I would feel great about having the wife and kids in the car with you LOL
That Miata is freakin sweet by the way.
-
LOL! I wonder what the life expectancy is of that trans??
-R
-
My Denali get pretty good gas mileage, Especially for the size and power it puts out.
I am really looking into getting a Miata to play with next. I want the 99+ though. Love the style on them a lot more, 240sx Convertible and the dodge stealth/3000 Gt VR4 are on the short list as well for the next play thing
-
I freakin' love those 3000's I have often said that will be my next toy...
By the way that motor in the miata looks sic as hell!!
-
Its an e-series Russ, so prolly slightly longer than a Chrysler auto (http://tongue.gif)

Hello All -
Sorry to add to an older thread, I have not visited the forum in awhile. I have my Capri in storage and spending my free time restoring a 1976 MG. To complement and not replace my Capri.
