Guys I need some help. the baffle plate on the crankshaft pulley how does it come off? Do you have to use gear puller to get it off. Or take crankshaft bolt off? need to get the timing belt off this was my only snag in the process....

This is a question for Rocket.

You'll need to remove that bolt, My baffle then jiggled off, you may need a pulley puller for yours though.

With Rockets instructions, i just did this two days ago. Good luck

You will need to remove the crank bolt. The pulley will come off on its own will then, no puller needed.

Be sure to torque it properly upon reinstall.

I'm also going to be working on making a set of timing tools, for securing the crank, and keeping the cam gears locked. Set engine to TDC, lock, and go about your belt change

New water pump,timing belt,bearings and tension spring, what a job. If I EVER have to do that again I would definitely buy your timing tool rocket. and thanks again guys for the advice on everything.....
