If anyone can help with parts that would be greatly appreciated.

Thats exactly what happened to me. The brakes locked up, and it was either slam into a rockey embankment with the whole side of my car or hit the car in front of me. either way, I had less than a second to react.

I think there is frame damage, which is going to be costly to have corrected. Wish me luck.

whoa, those are some really big pics! When we got our capri, our drivers side headlight wouldnt pop up, and the drivers parking lamp was missing. For legal purposes, the previous ownerdrilled an amber rectangle thing that you can find at most truck stops.

The hood will align right as soon as that headlight problem is fixed. The nose and small corner in ther fender can be hammered out. The flaked paint looks like a touch up brush/pen could fix. Im worried cuz I think I see rust. As for the bumper. Youre hopeless. Like the parking light and corner, youre gonna hafta find a new one. We plan to take this bumper:  http://www.extremedimensions.com/4022.html and make it fit the capri. If we're successful, we can sell you ours.

Best place to find parts is ebay. However I find harassing members on this site is benificial. Many people here "collect" capris, and therefore are willing to part out. Other sites, tend to make these hard to find items cost as much as the cars worth. You can try salvage yards, but mosts have either never heard of it, or think youre after a fox body mustang. Its very hard to find a real capri in a junk yard

Rocketman-
I have every part you need, except the center metal section (above the grill/below the hood). I'm one of those "collecters" that MyLittlePony is referring to (5 drivers, and 5 parts cars!!  And Growing!!).  Feel free to harass me at Cougar1prod at Comcast dot net.  What part of PA are you in??
As far as the color, My Girlfriend has the same color Capri, and she knows the actual name of it, but I forgot.  I asked her to respond today (Thursday), and let you know!

after my differential breaking im pretty much giving up on this car. my whole front end is pushed in about an inch, my plastic headlight brackets are shattered, have a brand new radiator, i actually found an aftermarket one for 170 bucks! headlights are stuck up, other than that the car runs great except for the differential, i will post pics of the wreck as soon as i can. i will probably be getting either an escort or my dads old volvo if we get a new trans for it..................................

Well, thats just what the color the black car in out 92 brochure was called. The car looks black on my monitor, not blue, indigo or grey. It has to be a black car simply based on my signature. We have a rio red mustang and a stratosphere blue capri. On my monitor they are both the same color as they are in my garage. However, when I view my signature at a crappy university monitor, since the fade in the windsheild is darker, the uper part of both vehicles dont exist. My settings are 32bit True color. Theres an option for 16bit, but then you have lesser colors.

I believe capris only came in 3 blues. A teal which was the popular color of its time, the stratossphere, and a dark metallic blue. But I think the dark blue was a 94 color.

I would have to say at least 5 blues- Teal, Stratossphere, Indigo, the '94 dark metallic blue, and yet another blue I do not know the name of-we have another 91 that is a lighter metallic blue than the indigo, and is the original paint, for sure.
Now I am curuios to find out all the available colors for all 6 years of the cars build time, including both US and AU cars.

Ok-Diana just handed me a 1991 AU Ford Capri brochure that has "Indigo" as an available color, as well as "Monza Red", Stark White", and "Platinum".
Also, here is a link to my Yahoo Photos album, that has her 91 Indigo Blue Capri.

Feel free to check out the other 3 Capris, as well as the 2nd and 3rd Annual Mid-American Capri Gathering Photos.
Now I need add photos of our other 6 Capris!

It is indeed dark blue. And by the looks of it it matches the color of the '91 capri posted above, so I guess its indigo. The light was fading when I took the pics so it might appear as a grey or black.
