Looking for a head bolt source.
Where have you guys found them?

Thanks

Re-using stock bolts is fine, otherwise a set of ARP head studs would do nicely. Can find them on ebay for the 1.6L Miata. Could also try the Mazda/Ford dealer but I suspect it would run the same price / more expensive than the ARP's

Re-use? Have been told by many that not to re-use.
Can't believe the price on new bolts. Even the ones you suggested on e-bay!

Some companies such as GM use "TTY" (torque to yield) head bolts which stretch when installed. Mazda to my knowledge does not use TTY bolts in their engines. I wouldn't recommend re-using stock bolts more than 3-4 times, I and many other people have not had issues re-using bolts.

I'm seeing ARP head studs for ~$120 shipped...

Thanks Rocket.

I will go with re-using the originals.
