Finally got to drive the car after a month of work!! It felt good, so to celebrate I drove to the casino for first time in a few months and walked out with $220 more than I walked in with!!! Must be an omen!! Probobly not.

first real intercooler pics, no easy task boyz!!

used the same BOV, man is that thing loud now!!

this interior is just sic!! no shit, sic!!

like I said sic!! My 94 upgrade, inside!!

remember this car and engine have 200,000 miles!

It will seriously turn over to 200,000 in a few days.

In about 8 months or $3000.00 or more, this is going in the car. The old one, who knows where it will go, but for now it is running absolutely wonderfully, clackin' lifters and all!! Its freakin'  noisy, fast, loud, gettin' all kinds of looks around town. Shit, I might even find a new rent'a'wife for a few day. Thanks for lookin' thanks to all who have helped, in both parts and knowledge!! mucho gracias. Man this little car has come aways!! Oh yeah, after installing the aftermarket boost guage, I can turn it up about 2.5 more lbs! According the rules of Joe, that should compute to around 12 more hp, right Joe? Oh and I dont know if ypu can see Matt but we highly modified the intake, after looking at yours on some pics. You see what we can learn from this forum...

I might end up using the side skirts, but the other parts just don't look good. nothing fits correctly, I should have sized them up. Honestly haven't really tried all that hard. Money should have been spent on other things!
FMIC feels awsome, turbo upgrde feels awsome. Makes the car breath alot better. I was surprised how much work was involved! Lots of cutting and fitting. My friend Mikey really came through. I was mostly doing the inside stuff. I can't wait for a bigger turbo. And the new motor, now it will take some time to build up money. But the car looks great and is running great, for now that is a plussssssss++++++++

did you buy the 'racer' kit on eBay? pretty sure those are meant for the 94 bumpers.

FMIC is a lot of work... as for the 200k I'm right behind ya at 197k... chassis though!

no matt- I bought it off a guy in seattle, makes me wonder if it is for a 94, when we tried to mate up the parts they just didn't really seem to fit all that good. then I just kind of gave up on it, got dissapointed and went another route. Any body in the seattle ardea looking for a body kit, let me know, its been painted and looks killer, basic red like stock. Yeah, as far as the 200,000 mark, I'm pretty sure the only thing on the car that has 200 on it is the speedo!! I know from personal experiance that 95% of all the bolts on the car have been turned. The thing about this car that impressed me the most was, the day I bought it, I drove it home with no radio working, and it made no sounds at all! no squeeks or rattles, just a quiet good running engine, and all that goes with it! Mube if your reading this, you did a great job on the car. After buying the 85 5.0 mustang convertible, I knew then that I was going to fix one of the cars up nice. You see mustangs at every light, I have driven to seattle and back and not seen another capri. Made my choice then. I'm very glad I did choose the capri. I am very happy with the results so far, and I'm far from done. I will build the 323 engine, then ding and put a custom paint job on it. It gets more and more attention, the more I do to it. I have experianced more hands on work on this little 4 cylinder motor than I ever have. Just learning the dynamics of the turbo charged cars has been a pleasent experiance. I can actually sit down and bullshit with the fellows, and have some knowlege. I have read alot and met people who know, most of all I have this forum to turn to, when questions arise. Ha, there aint no mustang forum that can hold a candle to this one!!!!!!

Wow, that's a nice looking car!

What are those red and blue colored spark plug wires I keep seeing on everyone's capri's? Mine need changed out and I saw a post the other day saying to use NGK or Magnacore plug wires. Are those brands the colorful wires I keep seeing? Does it even matter if you only have an un-modified xr2?

Kelly I'm sure your car has some great get-up and go to it!!

ones on my car are called Ultra Eights, and you know what? they are the ones that came on the engine I bought!!!!! thats funny, eh? Probobly close to 20 year old!! From Japan. Came over on a slow barge with no protection from the weather at all! But yeah, what matt said: good wires are good wires! It helps the engine compartment to look as nice as the rest of your car! It all goes together, my next step will be to order up some blue silcone vacumme wires from Silicone Intakes, and finish it up under the hood. I'm still debating on what kind of fog lights to install.

There 17's and there is only one size 17 inch tires that will fit, with no spacers. tires are Riken Raptors made by bf goodrich, excellent wet grip and cornering!!  Size 205/40 ZR 17 I spent right at $1100.00. another $200 on the springs I think.
