Let a friend of mine drive my festiva up and down the road... hes a big dude, and had a hard time shifting. Shifter was kinda under his leg a bit lol. I noticed him miss a couple shifts.
Anyway now I have to double clutch to drop to 3rd from 4th or 5th. Its fine upshifting from 1st or 2nd, just downshifting to 3rd... it wont go in at all, unless I double clutch and rev match. Is this a bad synchro?
Im gonna try draining the trans and putting synchromesh in it. Its got a mix of ATF and 15w40 motor oil in it now... probably not a great thing to have in there.
