Any got any links for the place to buy a modified chip for my 92 XR2? I also need a new valve cover? What about a link to upgrade the cams and lifters. How about just repacement cams? I was reading some of the comments about the scarety of capri's around. I have the only real nice one on the olympic peninsula. I bought another 92 NA, got it runnin' then bought this one I have now. Just a few more minor things and it will be sweet. You know-new wheels, drop it a little, and I just bought a "red racer kit" for it. 4 pieces that needs to be painted, kind of makes it look like a ferarri.

I believe that corksport has cams and lifters, though they are not stock and pretty pricy. miata and 323 cams will work as well as long as the car they cam from has a b6t in it. As for a valve cover im sure Rus has one for cheap.

thanks fer the info, I'll check into it.

For now I'll probobly just put in the lifters and let them deal with the exsisting cams.

When I find out about the heads I found on ebay, maybe I'll just pay for a rebuilt head!

i have a head here in good shape for your xr2, i didnt burn any oil what so ever. The motor only had 90 thousand miles on it, and the rod bearings went. it comes with lifters, cams, valves, springs, ect. Its ready to go.
make me an offer. * no valve cove tho.

I'm looking at a supposed wrecked XR2. If it doesn't pan out, I can make you an offer on it. Completely rebuilt ones on line go for $350.00.
I could go as high as $200.00, if the other one doesn't pan out.

Kelly-
I do have a valve cover.  Email me at cougar1prod@comcast.net with an offer!

For your chipped ECU, there is only 1 place to get one:  Rocketman! He's on the forum tonight, although he is still a little beat up from hosting his first Capri meet!
