ok i have a 91 xr2 and the oil guage has never moved off of 0 pressure... it runs great i have only driven it a few times for short distances(just got the car) i was reading somewhere to check to see if the seals in the turbo were blown and leaking oil into the intake/exhaust. it does smoke... ALOT! lol any thoughts?
also i was wondering what kind of quarter mile times you get from these cars just by freeing the intake and exhaust up? a guy wants to race me with his el camino..haha he is running about 15 seconds shouldn't be too hard to match i would think

There's supposed to be a ground for the oil pressure gauge under the hood that you have to just clean up. 0 sounds like it could be actual gauge failure though, a bad ground would normally just read low.
Think I read the factory XR2 1/4 mile was 15.9.
Not sure how much of that was driver skill.

alright thanks! i will give that a try and see if that fixes the guage anyways... i think i will prolly get the rebuild kit for the turbo neways though...just because!lol
