Which part breaks?  I noticed people are worried about the glove box latches too everything looks sound on my car, aside from showing a bit of age.

The top latches handles are cheap potmetal, and almost always break in that thin spot there.

If you come across a daily driver or a well-used capri most of the time the glovebox latches are broken. The back side is held on by two little hoops of plastic that break way too easily

Right now I am looking at ~$50 to install a new cast handle into your existing latch aseembly. I don't have any broken latches to start off with, though

If you want me to pick some up next time I am in the yard let me know. There are normally plenty of broken ones out there.
