I was looking under my capri at the exhaust. There is a pipe running to the  muffler then out of the back of the car.... To add an exhaust do i need to add just a tip or a muffler and the tip? I want performance  as well as sound. I want some thing like this..........

Good bad? What sounds good and give the best performance for the capri? I am going to run 2 1/2 from the cat back cut off the muffler and run it into the tip then weld it on.. Let me know what you guys think

exhaust tip are for looks only.. they do jack for performance... if you want good performance... 2.25 or 2.5 all the way back... with just increasing the diameter AFTER the cat, you still have the small pipes going TO the cat.   Me, there's no cat in my exhaust, and running the increased diameter from my downpipe back

still would love some help with this... I got some money and I am trying to find some thing to order.. Buddy of mine has a 1999 ford escort zx2 put a borla on his and it sounds pretty good. I was thinking more like a muffler now....

take from the flex pipe all the way to the back then weld the muffler on. yay or na any one? I do not want to run strait pipe i want some thing to help with the back pressure... As well as some thing that will turn a head or two when i drive by

man for the price of of that you can go to any exhaust shop and get a full 2.5in exhaust with a megaflow muffler for 250
