Hello Collective Wisdom,
As a matter of curiosity, not need at this point, how hard is it to come up with windshields for our cars these days?

Hello Everyone,
Same question for me.
There's one (just the glass) onn offer near here for about $180, and I want to know if i should snap it up just to have a spare.

Hi James,
I would snap it up for sure, the glass shop might even have a windshield box for you that you can safely store it in. The boxes are awkward to move and store (think pickup truck and big high shelf in your garage or shop).
That's a good price.

Well, it’s gonna be two fat guys in a Grand Cherokee with the seats folded down, but I get the idea.

Hi Steve,
Turned out to be a good trip.
The windshield is in good shape and the rear-view attached to it is better than mine.
Dude also had a decent shifter linkage and said he had a bunch of other parts.
It was a off-the-paved-road kinda place, but worth the trip.

I'm about to make a similar run for a parts collection for another project; it's a sickness...
So what does everyone think about windshield availability these days, or other parts we all should consider squirreling away?
