Josh-
I just got the MSD 8228 from Summit (just search MSD 8228 on their site.)

It is also the same one Joe (RCICustoms) runs.

I think your basic MSD Blaster 2 coil would work too. Basically anything with a two wire input and one spark output will work.

I dont think there is anything that would plug and play, you will probably need to splice it into the harness. Its only two wires so its not too bad.

I would hope the kit comes with connectors of some sort. Just cut off the plug on the stock harness and use the provided connectors, if its a pigtail harness splice it in, if it can use spade connectors then just crimp them onto the wires after you strip a bit of insulation off.

The MSD coil does NOT include connectors. Like Rocket said, just add some spade connectors to the stock harness, and your all set!

I'm not sure how big of a difference it'll make, but it puts out 35K volts, and that sure can't hurt!

If you really want to make an improvement, upgrade your exhaust. I just picked up my car a couple of hours ago, after removing the cat and getting 2 1/2" pipe all the way way back.  Holy Cr_p!!! After 4K RPM, it's a completely different car! It now pulls extremely hard all the way to 7500 RPM!! I'm actually a little scared of how hard the car will pull after the FMIC goes on!!
