WTB Top Latch
« on: October 17, 2010, 02:51:00 AM »

Hey folks,

Well, I just broke my first top latch. I was trying to adjust the top to fit better and "snap"! There went the passenger side latch. Anyone have an extra laying around they want to get rid of? I saw one on ebay, but wanted to ask on here, first.

Thanks in advance.

I think I am just going to replace the whole top. Frame and all. Thanks for the offer, though. I'll hit you up if I still need one later.

Tony, I understand replacing a top can be quite an adventure if you do it yourself, and quite expensive if you don't. Good Luck.Rocky

Well, since I'm not looking to get a brand new top, I'm hoping to find a good used top that is already on the frame. My frame is bent and twisted from previous owners trying to cram it into the compartment when putting it down. Hopefully it won't be too hard to find one.

I have a top!  It has a hole in it, but the frame is PERFECT.

It does need a new latch.

Where are you located?
