Title: Body parts interchange??

I bought a 1991 Capri that was hit by a deer.  the hood, windshield, grill panel, Passenger door,headlight,signal light, and parkinlight need to be replaced.

Are there any interchangeable parts with ford or Mazda that will closely (with minimal mods)fit?

i dont think so but what i would suggest is go to the junk yard and see what you can get from there...its proboly the cheapest way to go.

Yeah, pick'n'pulls are great! I went to one this weekend and found a hardtop on a wrecked capri that was in great shape, everything in place.

Cost for hardtop:$130.00
Seeing my car looking as sweet as can be: priceless.

i also have heard that 96-00 honda civic aftermarket body kits will fit but they have to be slightly alterd. i havnt tried it but it may be something to look into

I am not exactly sure, but the older Ford Probe hood and headlights look to be a fit.  (if that is true, that will reduce the price of headlight motors being sold)

Probe hoods will NOT fit!!  They are about 6" to wide!!  (http://graemlins/big-cool.gif)

I have the hood, grill panel, and the lights I could take picts of and send to you. how much of the door do you need? ( glass window motor ect) Iwill sell for about half the cost to get it from Mid-County Classic Mustang + sh.

I also have everything you might need.
I have a black 91 non turbo with the
crankshaft broke so we are going to part it
out.  Would not mind sending some of the smaller
stuff out to you.  If you have a way to get the
larger stuff, you can also have that stuff.  I have a hood, windshield, grill, door and what ever else you need except an engine.
Let me know and we can work out a sweet deal.
