Another body kit ques
« on: July 19, 2011, 07:50:00 PM »

i was looking at the Mazda rx 7 body kit  http://www.andysautosport.com/mazda/1986_1992_rx7/exterior/body_kits/vision_auto/
Looks like the body dimensions are the same as our cars, I think I saw someone on car domain used an rx7 body kit. Just curious pretty cheap for the full kit not afraid to modify either just let me know

Thanks

John

You're on your own as far as bodykits go. I've heard of Civic kits being modified to fit, and that's about it. I'd take an educated guess that whatever you choose is going to require some major mods to fit.

Might want to try Harry's or something, and pull some bumpers and see how close they fit on a Capri. Wouldn't cost you anything.

Good luck!

I had 17's with 205/40

Felt great.
I was playing with the civic one. I got the skirts for like $15 bucks. I posted pics in another bodykit question earlier

Hey Rocket,
Dont know how far you are from Willow Grove this guy selling nissan 240sx kits.  I wonder if it would match up with our capri or not off much.

And Gostlrs,
You said, you messed with Civic kits. Did you have to mod much to fit or did it fit?

it was about 2 inches shorter, so it would need to be extended that much with some fiberglass. I have photos posted in another post
