Hello all,
Mike here from NC, new to the forum. Posted my Capri for sale a few days ago. Unfortunately, the car has suddenly stopped charging the battery, just as interest has picked up from potential buyers. Suspect the alternator. Perplexing, as it's been running great. And, it has a new battery and new alternator (maybe it doesn't want to leave me). Anyway, I've had 4 of these Capris, and the charging system has never been great on any of them. Does anyone know of aftermarket bolt on upgrades, alternators from different models, etc, that will fix these weak systems? (Sorry if this is a discussion dead horse as I haven't had time to look through the archives.)
