What would cause the crank seal and camshaft seals to start leaking oil (assuming they were new seals, just put on 3 weeks ago)??

Also, will it hurt anything overfilling the trans with fluid? I'm having trouble with the dipstick and cannot tell where the level is. the speedo gear is oily every time i take it out. I'm tempted to just pour extra oil in until it spills out then just cap it off.

Replace your PCV valve if its stuck pressure will build up in the crankcase and force oil out, or perhaps the seals were not installed properly

Maybe they were not installed properly, but they did not leak for the first 2-3 weeks. I'll check out the pcv valve. Thanks rocket!
