Title: speedometer cable broken

Noticed while driving to work, my speedometer stopped working.
Has anyone used the universal cables for replacement. I think you have to pull out the broken one and cut size to fit.  Or should I look for oem?

I think Russ can still get new ones. Theyre a problem item

Are they the same between the na and the xr2?
