are the hubs and brakes the same? could they be swapped out or no go....?

If the brake rotors are the same size then yes. NA's sometimes came equipped with much smaller rotors than the XR2 brakes

i think his is the large ones..installed the ones it called for from the shop and they look small and not filling in t he whole brake pad...

Yeah, If the pads overhang the rotors by ~.25" then is uses the large rotors, "XR2 size" I have a set laying around somewhere

I've seen it done before, it caused severe stress on the rotor inducing cracking, and since a large portion of the pad does not wear at some point the two pads will contact and BAM no more brakes...really dangerous.

Also, I can't imagine braking would be all that great because the swept area is reduced dramatically

Quick question again on brakes, my 94 uses xr2 rotors and n/a pads?  Or are they both xr2?

Should be XR2 pads as well.
