Cam gears' cover needed?
« on: July 13, 2010, 06:21:00 PM »

Just interested in knowing if there's a reason why the top plastic cover part (that covers the twin cam gears) needs to be installed.  Any major problem with leaving it off? (Apart from eating fingers that get too close)

i run without front or back cam gear covers i like it becuase it lets me keep an eye on the timing belt and it looks alot better.. you need the lower one but i think the upper is optional
