was wondering if I go with a set of 16 rims for my car how far it would throw off my speedo

It cost me $100 to get the speedo recalibrated on my '93 after going from 14s to 15s.  Your speed differential will vary.  In my case, it was about 3 mph difference in the 30-40 mph range and got up to about 7mph when I got to around 75.  However, I have 2 Capris and could never remember in the moment which one I was in, so I bit the bullet and had the recalibration done.

That site that Matt posted will show you the variance for each tire size/width/height.

On the inside of my door it calls for 15 inch rims since it the xr2 but I have 14,s on it could my speedo be off cause of that it says on the door 195/50 r15 jw thanks

i ran 225/40/17s and speedo was fine   :D   on my 3000Gt Vr4 cam with 245/45/17 and i went with 245/40/18s with kosei sniper 18X9 rims and nothing changed

It's a local restaurant in Hamlin I'll find out when I go to work tomm. I've never actually owned anything I could even put in a show lol. But I figured it would be a first with my Capri . Can't wait for the northeast Capri gathering . If this weather lasts may be able to paint it soon .
