I am installing a new convertible top this weekend on my 91 xr2. I have the instructions from mid county mustang but i was wondering if there are any suggestions that might make this go easyer. Thanks.

I have a suggestion, have a professional do it! It is extremely hard to install one of those yourself.

Uhh yeah and they want what 7-800 for the top and installation? Have a little faith in yourself....I havn't done it yet though I need to. Mylittlepony suggested that you let it sit in the sun so the top is warm and more pliable.

I got the job done, it only took a few hours. Thanks for the suggestions. It was not that difficult. Definetly had to restretch the front after a week in the sun. The tan top looks awesome with the red paint.
